Victory Comes from God

Victory Comes from God

“How could one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had given them up?”
 Deuteronomy 32:30

Deuteronomy 32:30 reminds us that true victory does not come from human strength alone. When God is with His people, what seems impossible becomes possible. One person can chase a thousand, and two can put ten thousand to flight—not because of their own power, but because the Lord is fighting for them.

This verse also reminds us that disobedience can cause people to lose the protection and favor of God. Israel’s victories came when they trusted and obeyed the Lord, but their defeat came when they turned away from Him.

For us today, this is a powerful reminder to stay close to God, walk in obedience, and depend on His strength. No battle is too great when the Lord is on our side.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being my Rock, my strength, and my victory. Help me to trust in You and not in my own ability. Teach me to walk in obedience, faith, and humility. Fight my battles and lead me into victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
